Academy members can only formally join only one affiliate due to the rebate format and database infrastructure. New York State has decided to create a ‘supporter’ program, which allows members to join the affiliate as a secondary member. New York State will charge $35 dollars to cover the costs of services.

The benefits of the supporter membership are following:

• Receipt of mailings (newsletters and other special notices)
• Attendance at meetings/seminars (additional fees may apply)
• Opportunity to serve (by appointment/non-voting) on committees and task forces
• Access to member events and webinars
